A previous post shows this good sturdy barn in a picture taken 10 years ago with my Model A. Todays picture shows that taking the walls off gives room for more Model A's and other trucks barnas by farmgate, on Flickr

Big fancy expensive new horse barn. This picture does not convey that well. I will try to get a better picture later horsebarn by farmgate, on Flickr

This picture shows gaps between some of the boards. My grandfathers barn had 3/4" gaps between every board. It admits light in otherwise dark areas and does not allow enough rain in to matter. Of course, his was a cow barn and you may be more concerned about your contents than his cows were. 21 barns by farmgate, on Flickr

This barn has been neglected for a long time but the fresh wood at the bottom suggests that it is being repaired. The front wall is board and batten. The back wall shows gaps between boards. 27barns by farmgate, on Flickr
