Oh, wow. I'd love to have that much barn space to play with, I mean, uh, work in!
I'd also love that much acreage. I only have about 14 or 15 left, of my original 20. Still a decent-sized parcel for my town.
Do you have any pics for that renovation project that got an old barn looking so new, clean, and useful?

Thanks Guys, Glad you like it. It works quit well for my needs. Know what ya mean Bull, sometimes there is more play than work going on, but that's OK! And yea, anything over 5a will defiantly keep you busy if you want it to. Sorry but no I don't have pics of the renovation. Never thought anyone would want to see, and digital camera's were scarce then. I wish I did. Would make nice addition to post. I did record as much as I could when we did the house, but it was more for a visual reference in case I (or next guy) ever need it.

What a terrific looking work building! Love that large sliding door. Your floors look very sharp . . .what material do you have on them? I'd like to cover my 3/4 plywood in the shed shop . . .
I'd sure like to have a monster table saw like that .. . . a Unisaw?

Thanks Paul, Yea, I too like the sliders. In the summer, I keep these doors open most all day. Lets in lots of light and breeze. Even in the winter, If I am not going to heat the shop, I will sometimes open the doors anyway. Just for the light and views. This is the backyard view from that slider. Paul, the floors are just poured concrete nothing special. I do have a couple of pieces of carpeting down. Eases standing on the concrete all day, and can be taken up for hosing down the area. When they get to grimy, I just pitch. After seeing what others have done, I would live to cover the floors with wood. 5/4 x6" touge and grove would be GREAT. dream on.... As for the table saw, there are 2. The one in back is a Unisaw, and the one in frount is the uni's big brouther, the Delta 12-14. Great saw. Often can be had for less than the Unisaw.

tarnished, I like your collection of old telephones! My dad retired from a "Bell Telephone" company. Great place you have there!

Well it's March 5th today, and we had the biggest snow storm so far this year. Dumped about 8" of the heavy wet stuff on us last night. One of those rare still straight down snows that just covered everything in a cloak of white. BEAUTIFUL! Covers up all that depressing late winter crappy brown mess that we all go through here while waiting on something green to break through. Won't last, thankfully, but nice to look at while it does. Just thought I would share what the SSS looks like in the winter. Sheep Shed This Way! Looking out the shop slider The view from the back door I know a lot of others were going to get some of this tonight also. Hope they all made out as good as we did. And if you don't get this white stuff where you live, YOUR LUCKY! John
