I've made several trips to Texas and didnt get any pictures of barns but did better on a trip thru Louisiana First is an old barn made of logs. The owner says his great grandmother (who operated a juke joint across the road) told him the barn is from the 1800s In this case the juke joint was a liquor store up front, living quarters to the side and a dance room with juke box at the rear. The neon sign said First Chance on one side, and Last Chance on the other. I have pictures of the juke joint too 169barns by farmgate, on Flickr 170barns by farmgate, on Flickr

I saw this barn way out in the country from a great distance. I wasnt able to get a picture of the other end but it has the 'widows peak' that is usually seen over the hay door. 178barns by farmgate, on Flickr
